What is the difference between CarbR and CarbR Lite?CarbR® and CarbR® Lite are both diagnostic tests designed to assess your body's response to carbohydrate intake. CarbR®: This is the standard test, providing a comprehensive analysis of your glucose metabolism and insulin response, including HbA1c and cholesterol blood tests. CarbR® Lite: A streamlined version of the CarbR test, focusing on essential metrics for those seeking a quicker assessment. No bloods are included in this test, however, to be able to book, you must be able to provide results for HbA1c and cholesterol blood markers within the last 6 months. If you do not have these, you will need to upgrade to the CarbR test. The primary difference lies in whether the test includes a blood test or not.
